Nurturing care and early learning in a supportive campus community.
Early Education Services (EES) is dedicated to providing high quality developmental care for each child. Our purpose is to support the University of California’s mission of research, teaching, and community service by promoting access to higher education, and support students to achieve their educational and career goals.

Our programs

A place for your child to learn and grow
Our center is currently located in the UCSC Family Student Housing community near Heller Drive. A new facility near Hagar & Coolidge is set to open in fall 2025. With the move to the new center, we’ll expand childcare services to include children of faculty and staff, in addition to those of students.

Safe, supportive, and focused on your child’s development
Early Education Services is dedicated to providing the highest quality developmental care possible in a secure, homelike environment characterized by warmth, affection, and support. We believe that children learn through play and exploration while engaged in relationships with peers and responsive, caring adults. We nurture all aspects of a child’s development: cognitive, emotional, social, creative, and physical.
